The video is re-muxed but the audio is re-encoded to fix a bug with VLC 2.2.6. With the audio being re-encoded, there is a slight loss of quality but I did it because some people resist giving MPC-HC a try (which is the better media player).
The audio issue is fixed on VLC 2.2.6 for Mac as well.

Also, stop trying to make MPC-HC happen. It's not going to happen. VLC is by far more popular and available for more platforms.

Do you notice your hypocrisy?

You use Mac right?
~3.5% of the people use Mac compare this to ~88.5% of the people use Windows. Google "desktop operating system market share" for evidence.
Why do you use Mac? Stop trying to make Mac happen. It's not going to happen. Windows is by far the most popular and well-established platform on the market.

This was just an example argument to hopefully show you how your VLC argument is flawed.

Anyway, for Mac, you can try MPV which is FOSS like VLC and it has better media playback. You can have both media players installed.
